Unless the item is removed from the Consent Agenda by a City Commission member, no discussion on individual items will occur and a single motion will approve all items. [Commission Memo 13 -065] A. Approve the second amendment to the Seminole County Transportation Plan Interlocal Agreement (SCTPIA) which provides for amendment of Exhibit "A" to address the funding of new County projects. No changes are proposed to the funding of the City's projects. B. Approve the procurement of a Caterpillar 311D Hydraulic Excavator from Ring Power in an amount not to exceed $200,000. C. Approve purchase of 2013 Ford Super Duty F -250 truck from Don Reid Ford in an amount not to exceed $24,134. D. Approve donation of Law Enforcement Trust Funds to The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools in the amount of $2,000 to fund the cost of violence prevention Public Service Announcements. 7) PUBLIC HEARINGS: The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. CITY COMMISSION MINUTES APRIL 8, 2013 REGULAR MEETING 11) CITY MANAGER'S REPORT. Mr. Bonaparte said that a Blue Ribbon Panel was established to look at police community relations. The Panel is holding a public forum tomorrow evening in the Commission Chambers at 6:00 PM for the purpose of hearing citizen input on their perspective of police community relations in the City of Sanford. He acknowledged that tonight is the first City Commission meeting for Police Chief Smith. 12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION. David Evans spoke regarding fishing in the marina and asked that it not be eliminated. 13) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS. Commissioner M gave a slide presentation on happenings in Sanford. Commissioner Williams reminded everyone that the Leisure Services Department will be sponsoring a senior citizen activity Spring Fling and invited senior citizens to attend. It will be held on April 19 from 6:30 — 9:30 PM. She distributed an invitation to the Commission. Commissioner Mahany said that Seminole County will be celebrating its 100 birthday on April 20 at the Five Points complex and encouraged the public to attend the event. 1 CITY COMMISSION MINUTES APRIL 8, 2013 REGULAR MEETING There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:04 PM.
