ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY OF FRENCH AVENUE
LYING BETWEEN 25TH STREET AND BAYARD STREET
AND BETWEEN FRENCH AVENUE AND LAUREL AVENUE,
RESERVING THE USE OF SAME UNTO THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA, FOR UTILITY PURPOSES, PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That certain street described as:
That portion of the street right-of-way of
French Avenue lying South of the Westerly
extension of the North line of Lot 16,
Block 8, DREAMWOLD, according to the Plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 90,
and between the West line of said Lot 16 and
the East right-of-way line of State Road 600.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public
street in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby
disclaim for itself and the public all interest therein,
reserving the use of said street unto the City of Sanford, Florida,
for utility purposes.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
