ORDINANCE NO. 1432
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 13, THE SAME
BEING ENTITLED AD AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT
OF ARTICLE V OF ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF
SAID CITY; SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING
PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA;
SAID AMENDI1ENT ADDING A CLASSIFICATION
TO PROVIDE FOR AGRICULTURAL ESTATES AS
A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE AD AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT; SAID AMENDMENT FURTHER PROVID-
ING FOR DENSITY CONTROLS AS TO THE YARD,
DENSITY AND HEIGHTS OF BUILDING REQUIRE-
MENTS IN THE AD AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT,
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 13, entitled AD AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT or Article V of Ordinance No. 1097, said article being
entitled Use Provisions, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding a section to Sub-section B of Section 13 as a conditional use
by the addition or a paragraph as follows:
13. AD AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT.
B. Conditional Uses
(7) Agricultural Estates.
SECTION 2. That Section 13, entitled AD AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT of Article V entitled Use Provisions of Ordinance No. 1097,
is hereby amended as to Density Controls to read as follows:
D. Density Controls.
The following yard, density and heights of building
requirements shall be observed, except as provided in
Article VIII:
(1) For Agricultural Estates:
a. Minimum required lot area: One (1) acre
(43,560 square feet)
b. Minimum required lot width: One hundred (100)
feet, measured at buildhg line.
c. Minimum required front yard: 35 feet.
d. Minimum required rear yard: 35 feet.
e. Minimum required side yard: 20 feet.
f. ~1inimum required living area: 1500 square feet.
g. Maximum structure height: 35 feet.
h. Public open space requirement shall not apply.
(2) All other uses:
a. Minimum required lot area: 5 acres
b. Hinimum required lot width: 200 feet.
c. Minimum required front yard: 100 feet.
d. Minimum required rear yard: 100 feet.
e. Minimum required side yard: 50 feet.
f. Minimum required living area: 900 square feet.
g. Maximum required lot coverage: None
h. Maximum required structure height: 50 feet.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
