ORDINANCE NO. 1434
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ~~NDING THE BUDGET RELATIVE
TO THE ANTI-RECESSION FISCAL AID
PROGRAM OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
1977 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1978; SAID
AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE FOR THE TRANSFER OF
THE SUH OF $43,734.22 FROM THE CONTINGENCY
ACCOUNT OF SAID BUDGET TO THE EMPLOYEE
COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT ACCOUNT;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida adopted an ordiRnce making appropriations for the City
of Sanford from revenue to be received from the Anti-Recession
Fiscal Aid Program of the United States of America for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1977 and ending September 30, 1978, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission to
amend the budget previously adopted to transfer funds from the
Contingency Account to enable payment of a cost of living salary
adjustment to the employees of the City of Sanford.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the budget of the Anti-Recession Fiscal
Aid Program be and the same is hereby amended and the sum of
$43,734.22 is hereby authorized and directed to be transferred from
the Contingency Fund of said budget to the employee cost of living
adjustment account.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
