ORDINANCE NO. 1435
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AtffiNDING SECTION 7, THE SAME
BEING ENTITLED RMOI MULTIPLE FAMILY,
RESIDENTIAL, OFFICE AND INSTITUTIONAL
DISTRICT OF ARTICLE V OF ORDINANCE NO.
1097; SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING
PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD; SAID
AMENDMENT ADDING A CLASSIFICATION TO
PROVIDE FOR ADULT CONGREGATE LIVING
FACILITIES AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE
RMOI DISTRICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 7 entitled RMOI Multiple
Family Residential, Office and Institutional District of Article
V of Ordinance 1097, said article being entitled Use Provisions,
be and the same is hereby amended by adding to sub-section B of
Section 7 as a conditional use, the addition of a paragraph as
follows:
7. RMOI Multiple Family, Residential, Office and
Institutional District.
B. Conditional Uses Permitted.
(5) Adult congregate living facilities
as defined in the Adult Congregate Living
Facilities Act of the State of Florida and
in compliance with any other requirements
of the State of Florida.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effect-
ive immediately upon its passage and adoption.
