ORDINANCE NO'J~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY; SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA; SAID M1ENDMENT CHANGING
THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT PROPERTY LYING
BETWEEN COUNTRY CLUB ROAD AND WEST 25TH STREET
AND BETWEEN HARDY AVENUE AND THE VACATED
ATLANTIC COAST LINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM
RC-l (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO GC-2
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
A portion of that certain property lying
between Country Club Road and West 25th
Street and between Hardy AVenue and the
vacated Atlantic Coast Line Railroad right-
of-way,
said property being specifically described in
the legal description contained in that certain
Exhibit attached hereto and made a part hereof,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from RC-l
(Restricted Commercial) District to GC-2
(General Commercia~ District.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

feet; thence North 140 feet to the Point of Beginning;
AND LESS: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast
1/4 of Section 35, Township 19 South, Range 30 East; thence
run Easterly along the South line of said Section 35, 653.58
feet more or less to the Westerly right-of-way line of Hardy
Avenue; thence Northerly along said right-of-way line 801.36
feet to the Southerly right-of-way line of Country Club Road;
thence Westerly along said Southerly right-of-way line 125
feet to the Point of Beginning; thence West 90 feet; thence
South 125 feet; thence East 90 feet; thence North 125 feet
to the Point of Beginning;
AND LESS: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast
1/4 of Section 35, TO\Vllship 19 South, Range 30 East; thence
run Easterly along the South line of said Section 35, 653.58
