AN ORDIN&~CE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THOSE CERTAIN
RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENTS SITUATED IN THE NORTH-
WEST 1/4 AND THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 12,
TOWNSHIP 20 SOUTH, RANGE 30 EAST, SAID EASEMENT
BEING FURTHER DESCRIBED AS THOSE EASEMENTS
RUNNING FROH AND BETWEEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD ON
THE NORTH, U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92 ON THE WEST AND
LAKE MARY BOULEVARD ON THE SOUTH, PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, certain right-of-way easements were granted
to the City of Sanford, Florida in the property described in the
Exhibit which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City of Sanford that said easements have errors in the legal
descriptions and must be amended so that the necessary utilities
will be included within the easements to enable the present owners
of the property to proceed with the orderly development of said
property, and
WHEREAS, simultaneously with the adoption of this
ordinance, the City Commission has by resolution accepted three
separate Grants of Easement which will include the necessary
utilities to enable the owners of the property to proceed with
orderly development of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Those certain right-of-way easements
situated in the Northwest 1/4 and the Southwest 1/4 of Section 12,
Township 20 South, Range 30 East, said easement being further des-
cribed as those easements running from and between Airport Boulevard
on the North, U.S. Highway 17-92 on the West and Lake Mary Boulevard
on the South. and being more particularly described in those legal
descriptions contained in the Ex..hibit\vhich is attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as
right-of-way easements in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the
City does hereby disclaim for itself and the public all interest
therein.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
