Please be advised that two (2) or more members ofthe City Commission ofthe City of
Sanford may be attending this meeting and that subjects and matters involving the
City of Sanford may be discussed.
The City of Sanford Noise Ordinance Task Force met in the Railroad Depot Room,
Second Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida, at 2 PM on Friday, April II,
2008.

Absent: None.
Mr. Radzak called the meeting to order at 2:05 PM. He confirmed with task force that
Mr. John Washburn was selected as the fifth member, and meeting will he held every Friday in
the Railroad Depot Room, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida, at
2 PM until further notice.
1) Current ordinance discussion.
The task force agreed that a district within the Special Commercial zoning district be
identified based on the noise level analysis, distances, and source of sound for the
proposed ordinance. The task force will conduct a survey and discuss at the next meeting.
The designated times and days of the week will also be discussed at the next meeting.
2) Agenda Items - additional information and/or questions.
The task force agreed that an evaluation period of a new ordinance should be considered,
and soundproofing of new businesses should be explored. The appropriate City staff will
be available at the next meeting for the task force.
3) End the meeting.
