Sanford may be attending this meeting and that subjects and matters involving the
City of Sanford may be discussed.

The City of Sanford Noise Ordinance Task Force met in the Railroad Depot Room,
Second Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park A venue, Sanford, Florida, at 3 :00 PM on Friday, May 2,
2008.

Mr. Radzak called the meeting to order at 3:02 PM.
1) Approval of amended 4.18.08 meeting minutes.
Mr. Troutman made a motion to approve the April 18, 2008 minutes as amended, seconded
by Mr. Martin. The motion passed unanimously.
2) Approval of amended 4.25.08 meeting minutes.
Mr. Troutman made a motion to approve the April 25, 2008 minutes, seconded by Mr.
Then. The motion passed unanimously.
3) Loudspeaker and amplifier use discussion.
The task force agreed to table this item until next meeting.
4) Current ordinance improvements discussion.
The task force agreed to take language from the other jurisdictions' ordinance and discuss
at the next meeting.
5) Agenda items - additional items and/or questions.
DC Presley distributed the noise complaint log over the last six months for discussion.

The task force agreed to discuss three agenda items for the May 9, 2008 at 2 PM
meeting: 1) Loudspeaker and amplifier use in the proposed entertainment district
discussion. 2) current ordinance improvements 3) summary of recommendations and
narrative.
6) End the meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:05 PM.
