Please be advised that two (2) or more members of the City Commission of the City of
Sanford may be attending this meeting and that subjects and matters involving the
City of Sanford may be discussed.
The City of Sanford Noise Ordinance Task Force met in the Railroad Depot Room,
Second Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida, at 2:00 PM on Friday, May
30, 2008.

Mr. Radzak called the meeting to order at 2:32 PM.
1) Approval of 5.16.08 meeting minutes.
Mr. Martin made a motion to approve the May 16, 2008 minutes as presented, seconded by
Mr. Washburn. The motion passed unanimously.
2) Outdoor Live entertainment discussion.
Discussion ensued on outdoor live entertainment particularly on Saturdays. The consensus
was to allow up to 100dB measured 50 feet from the source between the hours of 6PM-
lOPM Sunday through Thursday, and 6PM-midnight Friday and Saturday.
3) Summary of Recommendations discussion.
The task force agreed to continue it as a work in progress.
4) Agenda items - additional items and/or questions.
A motion was made by Mr. Then to add the City of Daytona's Section 42-277 (a)(b)(4)
regarding revving engines to the proposed ordinance. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Martin. The motion passed unanimously.

The task force agreed to receive a draft of the ordinance and set a future meeting date.
5) End the meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:32 PM.
