Re: Modification of Mayfair Golf Course Lease Agreement
Dear Mayor and Members of the City Commission:
Please permit this correspondence to memorialize and reduce to writing Maece
Taylor, Inc., d /b /a Mayfair Country Club's, request and the City of Sanford's consent to
modify the Golf Course Lease Agreement executed September 27, 2007 to permit
equipment rental of gas golf carts. Accordingly, Section C on page 9 of 32 of the Golf
Course Lease Agreement titled Equipment Rental is modified as follows:
C. Equipment Rental. LESSEE, at its expense, shall make
available for rental by the public items such as golf clubs, pull and gas -
powered golf carts and other equipment as may be reasonable. LESSEE
shall be responsible for all maintenance and replacement of these items, and
agrees to keep the same clean and in good and safe operating condition at
all time.
Because Article VIII, Assignment and Modification of the Golf Course Lease
Agreement requires modification to be evidenced by a written instrument duly signed by
both the City of Sanford, Lessor, and Maece Taylor, Inc., d /b /a Mayfair Country Club,
Lessee, if accepted and agreeable to the City of Sanford, please execute before a notary
and return the original or true and correct copy to the undersigned.
