2005 YOUTHBUILD IMPLEMENTATION GRANT
AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
This Agreement is made this 8 day of December, 2008, by and between the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the City of
Sanford Florida (the Recipient).
RECITALS
1. HUD and Recipient entered into the Grant Agreement dated August 9, 2006, for
project number Y- 05 -IM -FL -0016 located in Sanford, Florida.
2. Under the terms of the Grant Agreement, Recipient received a grant from HUD in the
amount of $ 400,000.00, to be used to carry out the project described in the Grant
Agreement over a 30 month period. The term of that Grant Agreement will end
February 08, 2009.
3. Recipient desires to reallocate their original budget line items to enable them to
exceed their original program goal of graduating 16 students by an additional six (6)
graduates.
4. HUD has reviewed the initial application and the proposed change and has
determined that, with the change, the application ranking would have been high enough
to be competitively selected in the year the application was initially selected.
5. The need for this assistance continues within the jurisdiction within which the project
is located and the need for the project continues.
6. HUD has reviewed the project and the performance of the Recipient and has
determined the project is worthy of continuation.
7. HUD and the Recipient have agreed to amend the Grant Agreement to adjust its
budget line items in accordance with the activities and amounts identified in item 1 of
the Agreements following.

AGREEMENTS
1. The Grant Agreement is hereby changed by
a. reducing Line Item 2090 (wages, stipends, & benefits) by $40,584.00
(balance after reduction = $64,538.00)
b. increasing line item 2080 (education and job training) by $40,584.00
(balance after increase = $225,435.00)
2. The effective date of this change is December 8, 2008, the date it was executed
by HUD.
3. All other provisions of the Grant Agreement remain in full force and effect.
This agreement is hereby executed on behalf of the parties as follows:
