and Commissioner-Elect Dr. Velma Williams, District 2.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 1998, to authorize signatures on bank accounts.
3. Other business.

Vice Mayor Dr. Williams presented Resolution No. 2000 to Mayor Lessard.
A lady presented Mayor Lessard with a plaque from the Good Samaritan Home of Sanford.
Oscar Redden, Executive Director of Brothers' Keepers, representing Brothers' Keepers, pr nted Mayor
Lessard with a plaque from Brothers' Keepers, Inc.
Pastor Ronald Merthie, representing the Ministers of the East and West Side of Sanford, pr nted Mayor
Lessard with a plaque from Sanford East and West Side Ministers.
Kenneth Bentley, representing the Goldsboro Front Porch Council, presented a plaque to Mayo Lessard from
the Goldsboro Front Porch; representing the NAACP, thanked Mayor Lessard for his assistance; representing the oys and Girls
Club, thanked Mayor Lessard for the City maintaining and enhancing the Boys and Girls Club facility.
Eloise Dillegard sang "Wind Beneath My Wings".
Commissioner Hipes thanked Mayor Lessard and prescnted a shotgun to him from the City Co . sion. ]
There being no further old business, Vice Mayor Dr. Wtlliams moved to adjourn the meeting sine ie. Seconded
