The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Work Session on Monday, October 24,2005, at
4:00 P.M., in the City Manager's Conference Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present:
Mayor Linda Kuhn
Commissioner Art Woodruff
Commissioner Randy Jones
City Manager Robert (Sherman) Yehl
Deputy City Clerk Cynthia Porter
Absent:
Vice Mayor Dr. Velma Williams
City Attorney William L. Colbert
City Clerk Janet R. Dougherty
Mayor Kuhn called the Work Session to order at 5:12 P.M.
1)
Public Safety Building: Review of cost estimates and design proposals. [Commission Memo 06-008]
Mayor Kuhn said that this item will not be discussed today because of Vice Mayor Williams' absence; she
should be included in the decision making process.
2) Community Redevelopment Agency applicant interviews: Hank Dieckhaus, Sara Jacobson, Maria Shreve and
Richard Vaughan. (See Agenda Item R-9.A) [Commission Memo 06-016]
Mayor Kuhn said that Hank Dieckhaus withdrew his application.
The City Commission interviewed Sara Jacobson, Maria Shreve, and Richard Vaughan.
3) Agenda Items - additional information and/or questions.
Regarding R-8.C., Planning and Development Services Director Russ Gibson distributed a copy of Ordinance
number 3961.
4) End the meeting.
There being no further business, the Work Session was adjourned at 6:04 P.M.
