The City of Sanford Canvassing Board for the November 8,2005 Special City Election met on Friday, October
28,2005, at 10:00 A.M., at the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office, 1500 E. Airport Boulevard, Sanford, Florida.

Commissioner Art Woodruff [present at 10:10 A.M.]

The meeting was convened at 10:05 A.M.
1. Conduct the Logic and Accuracy Test on the voting equipment for early voting and Election Day district, absentee and
provisional ballot voting.
The four Accu Vote machines to be in use for early voting, election day district, absentee and provisional ballot
]
voting were tested.
Tapes were run of the AccuVote counters, [Commissioner Woodruff jointed the meeting] and the Canvassing
Board verified the counters were set at zero.
The test ballots were fed into each machine, the votes tabulated, and the Canvassing Board verified the results
to be correct and signed the tapes.
The memory card for each machine was sealed in the unit by closing the cover and locking the cover with a
numbered seal. The seal numbers were recorded.
Mayor Kuhn and Ms. Mike appointed Commissioner Woodruff Chairman of the City of Sanford Canvassing
Board for the November 8, 2005 Special City Election.
The touch-screen machines had been pre-voted using test votes. Their counters were tabulated and the

Canvassing Board verified the results to be correct and signed the tapes.
The memory card for each touch-screen machine was sealed in the machine and the doors to each machine
sealed with a numbered seal. The seal numbers were recorded.
Each Canvassing Board member signed the Witness Form, which was sealed in a duffle bag along with the
signed tapes.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:45 am.
