AMENDED LICENSE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
SINGLE FAMILY BOAT DOCK
COMES NOW the City of Sanford, a Florida municipality, whose address is Post
Office Box 1788, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771, (hereinafter the
"Licensor ") and grants this Amended License Amendment unto Geoffrey H. and Phyllis
R. Field (hereinafter collectively the "Licensee "), the current owners of a specific parcel
of land which is assigned Tax Parcel Identification Number 30- 19 -31- 502 - 0100 -0010
which is the property associated with the address of the Licensee (130 N. Scott
Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771), a revocable and transferable (as set forth herein)
license, personal in nature, for the purposes of constructing, accessing, using and
maintaining an existing dock as set forth hereinafter. This Amended License replaces
and supersedes the current License issued on June 26, 2006 by the Licensor to the
Licensee.
WITNESSETH
FOR THE SUM of TWO HUNDRED AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($200.00), and
other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which the parties
hereto acknowledge, the Licensor and Licensee agree as follows:
LICENSOR HEREBY GRANTS to the Licensee a license to construct, use and
maintain a boat dock over the following described parcel owned by the Licensor: Tax
Parcel Number: 30- 19 -31- 502 - 0100 -0010 (Bulkhead or Seawall to Lake Monroe)
abutting the unopened right -of -way of the City of Sanford for Seminole Boulevard.
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS agreed to by the Licensee:

' (1) The boat dock shall be constructed, used and maintained in accordance
with the Federal, State, regional and local laws, statutes, rules,
regulations, codes and ordinances including, but not limited to, the rules
and regulations of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection,
the St. Johns River Water Management District, the Florida Department of
Transportation, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and the
United States Coast Guard.
(2) The Licensee's rights hereunder are personal and transferable only to a
subsequent owner of Tax Parcel Identification Number 30- 19- 31 -502-
0100 -0010 upon payment of the fee required by the Licensor and
execution of an agreement with the Licensor, as may be required by the
Licensor, in a form similar to this document.
(9) The boat dock shall provide moorings for no more than three (3) vessels
and shall have a lockable gate to prevent others from accessing the dock.
(4) The Licensee shall hold the Licensor harmless from and against any and
all liability, damages, costs, expenses, fees, judgments, losses, and any
and all other charges, of whatsoever type or nature, relating, in any way
whatsoever, to the use of the boat dock by any person whatsoever.
(5) The boat dock shall be removed, at the sole and exclusive cost of the
Licensee, and this License revoked upon the Licensor notifying the
Licensee in writing, giving thirty (30) days advance notice, that the
Licensor has concluded, in its sole and absolute discretion, that the
continuation of the boat dock is contrary to the public interest or the
Licensor needs to use the area of the Licensor's property over which the

boat dock lies upon the Licensor's property. Upon revocation, the
Licensee shall commence activities that shall cause the boat dock to be
timely removed from the property of the Licensor within the thirty (30) day
notice period. Should the Licensee fail to timely remove the boat dock, the
Licensee hereby grants unto the Licensor right of access to the entire boat
dock structure and the right of self help in terms of taking any and all
actions necessary to remove the boat dock at the expense of the
Licensee said costs and expenses incurred by the Licensor being a lien
against the property of the Licensee.
(6) The Licensee shall provide the Licensor with written notice of any
activities, occurrences or events on or proximate to the boat dock that
result in damage or harm to a person or property.
(7) The design and construction of the boat dock shall be subject to the
review and approval of the Licensor's Director of Planning and Community
Development.
(8) The Licensor shall pay all costs of recording and preparing this License
and all costs relating to the documentation pertaining to the termination of
this License.
(9) If this License is not recorded in the Official Records of Seminole County,
Florida within ten (10) days of the date of execution by the Licensor, this
License shall be revoked and shall be of no further force or effect.
