CONSTRUCTION GROUP Section 5 / Exhibit C List of Assumotions and Clarifications The construction schedule is for 13 months from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. We have planned on the City Commission approval on June 22, 2009, Ground Breaking on July 1, 2009, and a Notice to Proceed in the field on July 27, 2009. 2. Substantial completion for this project shall be September 03, 2010. 3. Our General Conditions cost is $917,423. The detail of this cost is included in Section 2 of the GMP Proposal. We anticipate invoicing for this cost over the 13 month construction schedule in 13 equal amounts. 4. We have included HDPE cabinets in the Fire Station Kitchen (Room 1 -121) in Direct Costs (see line item 842). 5. We have included the increase of site perimeter chain link fence to 8' in Direct Costs (see line item 368). 6. We have included the increase of site perimeter wall to 8' while leaving the Fire Patio wall at 6' in Direct Costs (see line item 354). 7. We have included 8' vision screen on the site perimeter chain link fence per the Owner's request (see line item 369). 8. Specification section 05120, 05210, and 05500 indicate requirements and application criteria for spray fire proofing. The life safety drawings do not indicate this requirement. We have excluded this work per Owner /Architect direction based on FBC 2007, Table 601 — Type IIB, Unprotected, Fully Sprinklered. 9. Specification 10430 Interior Signage section 3.1 calls for the location of the interior signage to be placed where indicated on drawings, but no signage schedule or drawing showing the location of interior signage has been given. We have included an allowance of $45,672 for all interior room signage. 10. Specification 10550 Postal Specialties section 2.2 gives the quantities for the Police Department Mailboxes. It calls for a total of 200 but states it will be composed of the following; 150 each of the 4 inch wide by ten high, 15 each of the 8 inch wide by 10 inch high, and 5 each of the 12 inch wide by 10 inch high. These items totaled are only 165 units not 200 units. We have included (7) large mailboxes, (13) medium mailboxes, (165) small mailboxes and (16) x -small mailboxes on the Police Department side. Specification 13125 Metal Building Systems section 2.3 and 2.4 do not call for insulation in the wall panels or roof panels. Drawing A -202g also does not show insulation for either panel. Drawing S -7.01 shows details that call for insulated metal wall panels over "T' purlins. We have included insulation of the metal building. 12. Specification 13125 Metal Building Systems does not give the design loads for the Pre - Engineered Metal Building but refers to the drawings. The structural general notes S -0.01 thru S -0.05 do not give the design criteria either. Drawing S -7.01 note 9 refers back to the Structural General Notes for design info. We have based our pricing on the following design loads: • 20 lb live load • 31b collateral load • Wind load 150mph w/ an exposure "C" Importance factor of 1 13. Drawing C -400 shows the new gas line extending from Lake Avenue east to the Community Meeting room area of the new building. We have not included the cost to bring this gas line and meter to the building, this work to be performed by Owner /Utility. 14. Drawing LA -3 shows (6) trees along 13 Street that are not identified and to be selected at a future date. We have included an allowance of $500 per tree (total $3,000) for this work. 15. Drawing A -1.01b in room 1 -109 shows a Slide pole. No specifications were given on this item. We have assumed this pole to be owner furnished and have included a price for installation of this pole only. 16. Drawings A -1.01c shows the wire mesh Partition in room 1 -123. We have included a price for this room only for the Wire Mesh Partitions. 17. Drawing A -1.82 Equipment Schedule shows items 55, 56, and 59 -61 Wire Shelving as being FBO /IBC, but item 58 also wire shelving is FBC /IBC, we have not included a material price for this item; only the install of all the wire shelving. 18. Drawing A-4.01 in the toilet accessories schedule note A5 calls for Frameless mirrors and to reference the ID drawings for height and width. ID -2.22 shows the elevation of the restrooms and call note A5 a framed wall mirror. We have included a price following the Toilet Accessories Schedule and priced the frameless mirrors. 19. Drawings ID -1.02a and ID -1.02b show the interior accessories schedule. The drawings show projectors in rooms 2 -160 and 2 -127, but information on the type of projector screen has not been given. We have an allowance of $20,000 for the Projector screens (Da -Lite Tensioned Executive Electrol Projector Screen 120" Diagonal), and an allowance of $3,000 for Projector mounting bracket a Panasonic Ceiling mounting Bracket model ET -PKP1. Drawing ID -1.51A does not show the layout of the Take Down mats in room 1 -182. We have included a price for 560sf of the take down mat. 21. Drawing P -0.01, dated 05- 18 -09, fixture schedule calls out floor mounted water closets. We have included wall mount fixtures with carriers. 22. Drawing P -1.01C does not show a gas line extending from the Kitchen, Room 1- 121 to Laundry Room 1 -161. We have included a cost of $7,250 to perform this work.
