The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Meeting on Monday, August 17, 2009,
at 2 PM, in the Railroad Depot Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present:
Mayor Linda Kuhn
Vice Mayor Randy Jones
Commissioner Art Woodruff
Commissioner Velma Williams
Commissioner Jack T. Bridges
City Attorney William L. Colbert
Assistant City Attorney Lonnie Groot
City Clerk Janet R. Dougherty
Deputy City Clerk Cynthia Porter
Absent:
City Manager Robert (Sherman) Yehl
1) Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kuhn at 2:08 PM.
2) Discussion of City Manager performance/status.
City Clerk Janet Dougherty distributed a copy of City Manager Yehl's Conditional Resignation.
Mayor Kuhn said that discussion of the City Manager's performance/status will not be necessary since h
submitted his resignation.
3) Commission action, if any, as determined.
Commissioner Williams moved to accept the resignation of the City Manager and agree to the stipulations
stated in the conditional resignation letter. Seconded by Commissioner Bridges and carried by vote of the Commission
follows:
