The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Work Session on Wednesday,
September 2, 2009, at 11:30 AM., in the Railroad Depot Conference Room, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford,
Florida.
Present: Mayor Linda Kuhn
Vice Mayor Randy Jones
Commissioner Art Woodruff
Commissioner Velma Williams
Commissioner Jack T. Bridges
Interim City Manager Tom George
City Clerk Janet Dougherty
Cynthia Porter, Deputy City Clerk
Absent: City Attorney William L. Colbert
1) Call to Order by Mayor Kuhn.
[City Clerk Dougherty and Deputy City Clerk Porter left the meeting.]
2) Begin Closed Session — strategy session/discussions relating to the collective bargaining agreement between the
City of Sanford and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Mr. George distributed a 2009/2010 General Fund Revenues and Expenditures at 6.325 Mils dated today.
There was a consensus of the Commission to approve the COPS grant.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:57 PM.
