MINUTES Mr. Robert moved to approve the Minutes of the February 21,2008 Regular Meeting. Ms. Dennison seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. PROOF OF PUBLICATION Mr. Yolk moved to accept the proof of publications. Mr. Huber seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. PUBLIC HEARINGS Mr. Garrett informed all present Public Hearing item PH-4 would be considered first. Hold a Public Hearing to rezone 11.40 acres from AG, Agriculture, to RI-I, Restricted Industrial, for properties located in the 2900 block of Beardall Avenue and the 3100 block of Cameron Avenue, further described as land east of the proposed Orlando Sanford Airport runway expansion. Sanford Airport Authority, property owner; Diane Crews-V.P. of Administration, representative. Mr. Yosefian moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staffs recommendation. Mr. VonHerbulis seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. Ms. Dennison moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staffs recommendation. Mr. VonHerbulis seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. MINUTES - MARCH 20, 2008 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PAGE 2 Remove from Table and hold a Public Hearing to reconsider a conditional use request to allow outdoor manufacturing at 11 SO Albright Road. Treadmasters, Inc., property owner; Sid Vihlen, Jr. and Roy Fluharty-Nelson LC, representatives. Mr. Robert moved to remove from Table. Mr. Huber seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. Mr. VonHerbulis moved to approve the conditional use for outside storage and the associated site plan to allow the OD- site parking of approximately twelve (12) vehicles on an unpaved area located at the northeast area of the property for eighteen (18) months with the approval attached to Nelson LC. After the eighteen (18) months and Nelson LC moves out, the approved unpaved parking area shall be sodded and landscaping added along the front. Ms. Dennison seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. Hold a Public Hearing to consider a conditional use request to ame~d an existing conditional use to allow General Commercial uses at 405 Celery Avenue. Gary Rager, property owner; Gary Rager and Jackie Cooper-tenant/proposed new property O'Wller, representatives. Mr. Yosefian moved to table the conditional use request until the June 19,2008 regular meeting, or sooner, to allow the owner time to meet with an engineer to determine the parking layout. Ms. Dennison seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0. STAFF REPORTS A staff report was distributed in the agenda packet. Ms. Muse informed the board the April3rd meeting is canceled and the next regular 'scheduled meeting will be April 1 7th. Mr. Robertson informed the board he would forward a copy of a legal opinion regarding zoning sign-off on business license applications. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None. COMMISSIONERS REPORTS None.
