CITY COMMISSION CHAMBERS CITY HALL, SANFORD, FLORIDA MEMBERS PRESENT: Andy Kutz, Vice - Chairman Brian Volk Richard Huber Rami Yosefian Bobby VonHerbulis Otto Garrett MEMBERS ABSENT: Ross Robert, excused Mike Skat, excused Carol Dennison, excused Eddie Green, excused OTHERS PRESENT: Russ Gibson, Director of Planning and Development Services Chris Smith, Project Manager Larry Robertson, Development Services Manager Jared Munster, Planning Intern Mr, Kutz called the Worksession Meeting to order at 6:06 P.M. Mr. Gibson informed those that were present that the purpose of this Worksession was to hold a Community Awareness and Participation Plan (CAPP) meeting. A written overview of the project was distributed and available to all in attendance. The proposed project is a mixed use development containing two (2) 24 story residential towers with 468 dwelling units and 42,000 square feet of commercial retail space on 9.36 acres. Mr. Jerry Mills gave a brief overview of the proposed Rivers Edge project. Mr. Stephen Myers came forward to express concerns about the project's design including that the project creates a "wall" along Lake Monroe.
