Speaking Before the City Commission. There is a three (3) minutes time limit
for each speaker on each item, except a person representing an organization
and presenting its views during a quasi-judicial hearing will be allowed five (5)
minutes, and a person speaking under Citizen Participation will also be allowed
five (5) minutes. Your cooperation is appreciated in observing the time limit
policy. Each person desiring to address the City Commission on an agenda item
pending before the City Commission must, before addressing the City
Commission, legibly complete a citizen's input form and submit the form to the
City Clerk or designee.
Pledge of Civility. A resolution was adopted by the City Commission of the City
of Sanford recognizing the importance of civility, decency, decorum and
respectful behavior in promoting citizen participation in a democratic government.

right-of-way ranging in approximate size from 1200-3300 square

City Manager Bonaparte said that the City hosted the CALNO meeting last week
and the presentation on the Citizen Academy was well received by the other cities.
12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION:
Toby Wells stated that he contacted the City six months ago regarding the
condition of the tennis courts at Chase Park and has not received a response. He said that the
courts need to be cleaned up and re- striped. Mr. Bonaparte said he is aware of the condition of
the tennis courts. He stated that the City has limited funds for this and that the Public Works
Department will have to work this into their schedule; however, he said that he will speak with
the Public Works Director and provide Mr. Wells with a time table.
Al Vargas said that he would like to see signs along Seminole Blvd. advising that
that no commercial traffic should be traveling along that roadway.
