SUBJECT: Cancellation of October 21, 1999 Meeting
No public hearings or development plans have been scheduled for consideration at the regularly scheduled
Planning and Zoning Commission meeting of October 21, 1999. Therefore, with approval from the
Chairman, the meeting has been canceled. The next regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Commission scheduled for Thursday, November 4th will be held as usual with an agenda packet forwarded
to each commissioner as further notice of the meeting.
For your information, the attached announcement is being promulgated to interested parties regarding two
regular comprehensive plan amendment cycles for 2000. These amendments are intended to consider
changes to the Future Land Use Plan Map that often need to occur in coordination with annexations. The
second plan amendment may also include text amendments pursuant to the recently approved Evaluation
and Appraisal Report.
If anyone is interested in attending the Training Workshop for Elected and Appointed Planning Officials at
the Florida Planning and Zoning Association conference on Wednesday, October 27, 1999 please notify
