06.03.82MINUTES Planning and Zoning Commission June 3, 1982 7 :30 P.M. Members Present: J. Q. Galloway, Chairman James Barks Darrell Grieme John Morris Sheila Roberts George Willis Members Absent: C. B. Franklin Cliff Miller Frank Whigham Others Present: Leah Rogers, Zoning Inspector Leslie Kemp, Orlando Sentinel The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by the Chairman, J. Q. Galloway. The first agenda item was postponed to the next regular scheduled meeting by the proponent, Mike Kaney, representative for F1 Mining & Materials Corp. The next item for discussion was a request for a variance on the side yard setback requirement of a single - family dwelling located at 135 Wildwood Drive in Ramblewood, (PUD) represented by Stanley I. Meadows. After discussion Mr. Willis moved to grant the 2' ft. variance needed. Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion carried. The next item for consideration was a request from the floor, for a sewing machine repair business conducted in the customer's home, and telephone service only, at 2528 S. Palmetto Ave. in the MR-1 zoned district, represented by James Mattison. He said there would be no repair done at his home and no equipment stored there. After discussion, Mr. Morris moved to approve. Mr. Grieme seconded. Motion carried. Mr. Meadows requested from the floor, consideration of a 3 1 1 ft. variance between two houses for the construction of a house at 129 Wildwood Drive. After dis- cussion, he agreed to get something in writing from adjacent property owners and come back to P & Z with the request. The Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed.
