The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by the Chairman, J. Q. Galloway. It was noted that the preliminary plat of Ramblewood, Unit II had been withdrawn by proponent David Meadows because of plat not con- forming to Subdivision Regulations. The next item for discussion was a site plan for a new 100' x 70' metal sunscreen cover and enclosure of an existing 24' x 48' sun- screen for an office in the GC -2 zoned district for Sanford Rec -Vee, Inc. at 1801 W. First St., represented by Woody Brown. After dis- cussion, including the driveway and curb opening on the 2nd St. side of 100 ft., Mr. Miller moved to grant the request. Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried. The next request was for a home occupation of "Sewing, alterations, repair'_' in the SR -1 zoned district at 124 Drew Ave., represented by Pazaria S. Golden. During discussion she said the bulk of business would amount to about 20 items per month which she places in various stores for sale. Mr. Franklin moved to grant the home occupation. Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried over the dissenting vote of Mr. Willis. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed.
