The meeting was opened at 8:00 P.M. by the Chairman, Arthur
Harris..
The first item on the agenda was a public hearing to change
uvse provisions of AD zone in Zoning Ordinance, to allow land-
fill as a permitted use. After a question on proper notification
of the public, the Board proceeded on the advice of the City
Attorney'. Mr. Royster moved to recommend approval, Mr. Davis
seconded. Motion carried over the dissenting vote of C. B.
Franklin. Mr. Bridges abstained from voting.
The second item on the agenda was a public hearing to rezone
part of MR -1L to AD. (Copy attached) Present to speak in
favor, Vernon Mize, City Attorney.
There were eighteen (18) people present
and a petition with 510 names submitted

Motion to approve, seconded and carried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed.
