02.24.72i ZONING & PLANNING COMMISSION 8:00 P.M. February 24, 1972 Members Present: Arthur Harris, Chairman Jefferson Davis David Berrien Phillip Logan Members Absent: Edward Blacksheare Bert Hollingsworth Dale Coppock C. B. Franklin Robert E. Karns Others Present: W. E. Knowles, City Manager L. J. Risner, Building Official Gerald Dake, City Planner Mack LaZenby, City Engineer Due to a lack of a quorum no official meeting could be held. Gerald Dake, City Planner submitted copies of the revised Zoning Regulations for study and comments. In the near future a finished copy will be ready for final approval and submission to the City Commission. Mr. Brailey Odham appeared before the group to discuss the proposed preliminary plat for zoning and development of West 25th Street Subdivision located at West 25th Street and Grapeville. The members agreed that Mr. Odham's plat was feasible with only minor changes and that it would be considered again at the next meeting when official action could be taken. Zoning and Planning Commission February 24, 1972 The City Planner reported that he and the City Engineer were already in the process of studying the downtown traffic and that it would be wise to schedule a meeting with the Downtown Merchants and the Zoning and Planning Board to work out the problems now encountered. The Building Official was requested to set up the meeting. The City Planner also gave a progress report regarding the Workable Program for the City of Sanford.
