Inspector Chairman Harris Called the meeting into executive session at 8 :00 P.M. Mr. Ned Julian, Attorney, presented the request for Mr. Ted DiGiavanni, concerning the property located at 2605 Sanford Avenue, legal description being Lot 8, Block 5, A. D. Russells Addit6on. The property was zoned C -2 in the county, when it was annexed into the city it automatically became the highest zone which is R1 -AA. Mr. Julian presented pictures of the property and the surrounding buildings. There is Sanford Heating and Air Conditioning next door and across the street is Seminole TV and Franks Barber Shop. The property is commercially located and has no value as residential. Chairman Harris suggested the quickest thing for them to do was get on the City Commission Agenda for the Public Hearing to be held on October 9, 1972. Mr. Wayne O'Neal who also owns property which was annexed the city at the same time, and was under the impression the zoning would return1to C -2. Mr. Art Harris signed thePUD plans for Sanora. Mr. Karns suggested that it be recommended to the City Comm- ission to follow the procedure of requiring developers to obtain driveway permits from the State.
