Knowles, City Manager Mr. James Haussmann, Building Inspector Mr. Julian Stenstrom, City Commissioner A general discussion period was held due to the fact that only two board members were present. First discussed was the proposed Capital Improvements as presented by the Gerald Dake Associates. These improvements were discussed thoroughly with the Zoning and Planning Commission prior to this meeting. The City Planner explained to Commissioner Stenstrom what the Zoning and Planning Commission were suggesting to the City Commission as a priority list for these improvements. The City Planner will present a six year budget for the suggested Capital Improvements including possible federal funds at the next meeting. Z & P Meeting May 20, 1971 Page 2 The City Commission members had been invited to review and discuss the updated General Land Use Plan and map of the City of Sanford but due to lack of attendance this was not possible. The City Planner stressed the fact that this was necessary before the plan could be completed and a new zoning ordinance and zoning map could be prepared. A public hearing was scheduled for this meeting but was rescheduled for June 3rd on a request to rezone from R -3, Multiple Family District to C -1, Neighborhood Com- mercial District that property described as Lots 39 -40- 41 -42 and south 18' of Lot 38, Pine Heights Subdivision. Also, scheduled for a public hearing on June 3rd, 1971 was Lots 1 -3 -5, Lanes Addition, Amended Plat (23rd and Oak Ave.) from R -lA, Single family to R -3, Multiple Family. Another Public Hearing has been set for the following on June 17th :. a) Lots 1 -2 -3, Block 13, 3rd Section Dreamwold from R1 -A. Single family to R -3, Multiple Family. b) Lots 1- 2- 18 -19 -20 and South 20' of Lot 17, Block 12, 3rd Section of Dreamwold, from R'-lA, Single Family to R -3, Multiple Family. c) Property located on Grapeville Avenue Extension, west of Highway 17 -92 and Onora Road. Consideration for a request to permit a nursery school operation at 1803 Maple Avenue as a conditional use in a R -lA zone was tabled and will be brought up at the meeting of June 3, 1971. Mr. Brailey Odham submitted a preliminary plat of the area between West 20th Street and 24th Street - West to Marshall Avenue and East to Country Club Manor. Mr. Odham wishes to develop this area and erect single family homes. There being no further discussion the meeting adjourned. Chairman
