Mr. McKibbin said he would go with the majority on YLr. Bair. ` Mr. McKibbin moved that they recommend that the City Com- mission request Mr. Fred Bair to submit a proposal, including a scope of work, for city planning. Seconded by Mr. Housholder and passed. Mr. Faville said he felt that it would be best to have a young man work with the consultant. Mr. McKibbin pointed out that Mr. Bair appeared to be very practical and down to earth. Mr. McKibbin reported on Mayor Ray Green, Winter Park, wishing to have a meeting with Mr. Rotival on regional planning. It was felt that now was not the time to muddy the water with regional planning, but that it could be discussed later. The Commission advised the City Manager that, since Russell and Axon had received one hearing it would mean each consultant would have to be heard a'second time if Mr. Jess Russell was allowed to appear on November 15, 1956.
