SPECIAL MEETING
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Meeting on
Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 4 PM, in the Railroad Depot Room, Second Floor, Sanford City
Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present: Mayor Jeff Triplett
Vice Mayor Randy Jones
Commissioner Art Woodruff
Commissioner Velma Williams
Commissioner Patty Mahany (present at 4:12)
City Manager Norton N. Bonaparte, Jr.
City Clerk Cynthia Porter
Absent: City Attorney William L. Colbert
Mayor Triplett called the meeting to order at 4:07 PM.
1. Approve Amendment No. 5 to State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan WW590131 which
increases the loan amount by $1,732,500 for biosolids management system and authorize
the Mayor and City Attorney to sign the Amendment. [Commission Memo 16-321]
Interim Utility Director Bill Marcous reviewed this item and stated that approval of
Amendment No. 5 by the December 31, 2016 deadline will provide an opportunity for the City to
save at least $50,000 on the SRF loan.
Commissioner Woodruff moved to approve this item. Seconded by Commissioner
Williams and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:
