ORDER RELATING TO 514 SOUTH PARK AVENUE AND ISSUING CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS (COA) MODIFYING PRIOR COA On December 21, 2016, the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Sanford issued this Development Order issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness relating to and touching and concerning the following described property: 514 South Park Avenue, Seminole County Tax Parcel Identification Number: 25-19-30-5AG-0702-0040. FINDINGS OF FACT Property Owner: Maria Shreve 514 South Palmetto Avenue Sanford, Florida 32771 Applicant: Maria Shreve 514 South Palmetto Avenue Sanford, Florida 32771 Project: To modify a previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness to install chamfered posts on the real property located at 514 South Park Avenue. Requested Development Approval: To modify a previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness to install chamfered posts on the porch on the real property located at 514 South Park Avenue. Additional Findings: The Seminole County Property Appraiser website lists the I year of construction as 1920. On March 16, 2016 the Applicant received approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness to install 3 chamfered posts on the porch. The modification of the previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness will allow the installation of 5 chamfered posts. The chamfered posts are in character with the architectural style and period of the building. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW (a). Pursuant to Section 8.0 of Schedule "S" of the City's Land Development Regulations as set forth in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanford, the Historic Preservation Board has reviewed the proposed Certificate of Appropriateness and all matters relating thereto in accordance with the procedures for altering historic landmarks or structures within historic districts as set forth in Schedule "S". (b). The purpose and intent of Schedule "S" have been met in the context of the approval set forth herein. (c). To the extent that a conclusion of law as set forth herein also constitutes a factual finding, then such shall be taken to be so as part of this Development Order. (d). The proposed Certificate of Appropriateness is hereby found and determined to comply with the aforestated requirements. (e). Additionally, the Certificate of Appropriateness sought is hereby found and determined to be consistent with the City of Sanford Comprehensive Plan and development of the property as proposed would be consistent with and in compliance to applicable land development regulations and all other applicable regulations and ordinances as set forth in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanford. ORDER 2 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT: (1). The aforementioned application for a Certificate of Appropriateness is APPROVED. (2). This Development Order granting approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness touches and concerns the aforedescribed property. Done and Ordered on the date first written above.
