This is the first of three readings of this Ordinance. Commissioner Austin moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 4412. Seconded by Commissioner Woodruff and carried by vote of the Commission as follows: Vice Mayor Mahany Aye Commissioner Woodruff Aye Commissioner Austin Aye 9) CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT. 10) CITY CLERK'S REPORT. 11) CITY MANAGER'S REPORT. City Manager Bonaparte said that the Seminole County trail loop approval will be considered by the Seminole County Board of Commissioners on July 11. The City Commission requested consideration for the trail to be 8 feet concrete along Mellonville Avenue and that there be a turn lane onto Mellonville Avenue from Celery Avenue, Mr. Bonaparte showed a video of Sanford by the Orlando Sentinel. Mr. Bonaparte reminded everyone of the July 4th event to be held in Sanford. CITY COMMISSION MINUTES JUNE 269 2017 REGULAR MEETING 12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION. Julia Brunson, Historic St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, thanked the Commission for trying to help with grant funding for her church. Commissioner Woodruff asked that the City Commission adopt a policy to try to help organizations regarding grant funding. 13) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS.
