Ms. Powers seconded the motion. Motion carried 4 -0. Item 4 — Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness — Commercial District Mr. Then entered the meeting at 5:12 Item 4A - 118 S Palmetto Ave., Kim House, 1105 S Oak Avenue, applicant, is requesting approval to install a 13' x 43' aluminum porch roof over slab. Ms. Shreve made the motion to approve presented. Ms. Gibbs seconded. Motion carried 5 -0. Item 5 — Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness — Residential District Item 5A — 1103 Oak Ave., Kim House, 1105 Oak Avenue, owner and applicant is requesting approval for removal of siding to open front porch, replace with a 1 1 /4 " thick baluster and 3" wide x 1 3 /4 " high beveled rail. Mr. Then made the motion to approve as presented. Ms. Shreve seconded. Motion carried 5 -0. Item 5B - 1005 Palmetto Ave., Pam Hendricks, Final plans for new house — continued to October meeting. Item 5C - 301 W. 7 St., Seminole County Public Schools, Allen Nettles, Demolish building; Construct 16' X 24' storage shed, - continued to October meeting. Cave -in in Touhey Park and 7 th street side by park, need public works attention. Mr. Then - 808 Magnolia Ave., man made decking needs code enforcement attention. Cave -ins in Southside Park, needs public works attention. Mr. Myers - 422 Palmetto Ave - candy stripping Paint on house, needs code enforcement still /again for paint and construction of items other than approved by board. Ms. Shreve — debris in road in front of 1100 block of Palmetto, needs public works /code enforcement attention.
