Oak Avenue The applicant would like to obtain approval to retain metal railings installed on the west and south elevations. Pine Avenue The applicant would like to obtain approval to install a new metal roof and gutters. Tax Parcel Number: 25- 19- 30- 5AG -13OC -0000 Property Owner: Community Improvement Association of Seminole County Representative: Chris Butler Minor Reviews Review of Certificate of Appropriateness approvals issued administratively between December 10, 2009 through January 20, 2010. 6 Month Reviews (July 2009 Meeting) There were no regular meeting items presented to the board in July 2009. The HPB held a work session to review potential revisions to Schedule S. Mr. Chen not present at this time. Minutes Mr. Robert Kinney moved to approve the December 16, 2009 regular meeting minutes. Mr. Chusmir seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 4 to 0. Mr. Chen not present at this time. Mr. Dieckhaus read the following into the public record "Applicants are advised that any person aggrieved by a determination of the Board may appeal such determination to the City Commission by filing a written appeal and paying associated fees through the City Clerk's Office within thirty (30) calendar days of the Board action. Additionally, a permit may be required for any Certificate of Appropriateness approved this evening. It is the applicant's responsibility to inquire with the Building Department as to whether or not a permit is required for the approved Certificate of Appropriateness." Motion carried 5 to 0. 6 Month Reviews (July 2009 Meeting) There were no regular meeting items presented to the board in July 2009. The HPB held a work session to review potential revisions to Schedule S. Citizen Participation None. Staff Reports None. Elections Mr. Dieckhaus moved to nominate Mr. Delton Chen to serve as Chairman. Mr Yebba seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 5 -0. Mr. Kinney moved to nominate Mr. Hank Dieckhaus to serve as Vice -Chair Mr. Steve Chusmir seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 5 -0. Mr. Chusmir moved to remove the election of a Secretary from Schedule S. Mr. Kinney seconded All in favor Motion carried 5 -0. Chairman and Board Items for Discussion Ms. Dalton is in the process of applying for a Preserve America grant for informational markers and would like a letter of Board approval. After some discussion Mr. Kinney motions to approve letter of support for Informational Markers. Mr. Chusmir seconded. All in favor. Motion carries 5 -0 Ms. Dalton gave a brief presentation about the Wayfinding project Ana Yebba came forward and asked how she could have new signs placed in her neighborhood. Code Enforcement violations will be completed and submitted to Darrel Pressley in Community Improvement by the end of week. Adjournment There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:34 PM.
