The Chairman called the meeting to order at 5:00 P.M.
Ms. Farrell moved to approve the Minutes as circulated. Seconded by Mr. Rogers. All in favor. Motion carried.
The first item on the Agenda was consideration of the Certificate of Appropriateness - residential - for 101 West 9cn
Street to install a 12'x6' storage shed in the rear yard.
Ms. M. J. Hunter, 621 Oak Avenue, was present for representation. She stated that the fence is required because the
tenant had approximately $500 worth of equipment stolen about 2 months ago. The tenant has to unload his lawn
equipment every night and place it in his dwelling.
Because the shed width size does not allow for storage of vehicles and the setbacks are appropriate with Schedule S
guidelines, Ms. Ransom moved to approve. Seconded by Ms. Farrell. All in favor. Motion carried.
There was a brief discussion regarding sheds. Brochures from various shed companies will be provided at next month's
meeting.
Mr. Van Gaale will provide a draft form of a placard to alert neighbors that something is going with properties in te h
District. It will have a notice of hearing date, etc. for additions and things of that sort.
Mr. Van Gaale will address the old garage at 13 Street and Park with the City Manager. A letter of recommendation
from this Board will be addressed to the City Manager.
Mr. Van Gaale will also provide a copy of the Newsrack Ordinance to the Board.
