[Commission Memo 17 -272] Commissioner Woodruff moved to approve CRA Resolution No. 03. Seconded by Commissioner Austin and carried by vote of the Commission as follows: Mayor Triplett Aye Vice Mayor Mahany Aye Commissioner Woodruff Aye Commissioner Williams Aye Commissioner Austin Aye 7) SECOND PUBLIC HEARING for adoption of the 2017/2018 MILLAGE and the 2017/2018 BUDGET. Publicized in the Orlando Sentinel on September 21, 2017. [Commission Memo 17 -273] A. Declare the public hearing on the millage and budget open. This is the final public hearing on the City of Sanford's 2018 Millage and 2018 Budget. The proposed millage of 7.325 is the same rate as last year. B. Allow public comment and questions on the proposed millage rate and budget. C. Commission discussion. D. Approve Resolution No. 2691, adopting the millage rate of 7.325 for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2017 and ending September 30, 2018. Commissioner Austin moved to approve Resolution No. 2691. B. Approve the procurement of fuel for Fiscal Year 2017/2018 in the estimated amount of $1,100,000 from Petroleum Traders, Inc. C. Approve the special event with a noise permit and street closures for the `2017 Freedom Festival' to be held on October 21, 2017. D.
