A. Approve the special event permit with traffic modifications for the `4t" Thursdays
Bike night at the Alley' event on the 4t" Thursday of every month from March to
December 2018.
B. Approve the special event permit with street closures, an alcohol permit, and a noise
permit for the 'Festival Puertorriquena y Multicultural` event on Saturday,
November 3 and Sunday, November 4, 2018.
C. Approve Change Order No. 4 to Jordan Brothers Construction in an amount not to
exceed $23,293.77 for Bid IFB #15/16 -18, `The Historic Goldsboro Boulevard
Streetscape Project Phase II'.
D. Approve the award of Bid IFB #17/18 -18 to Central Florida Tapping, for a ten inch
water main relocation at 8" and 9" Streets.

the barrier wall and fencing as requested and are willing to invert the two units that Commissioner

Ms. Houchin distributed handouts pertaining to the upcoming Ethics training that
will be held at City Hall on April 18, 2018.

12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Steve Smith, resident of Sanford, expressed his concerns with the MLK Steering
Committee and asked the Commission to stop allowing the CRA to fund the organization.
13) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS
Commissioner Austin gave kudos to the Recreation Department for hosting a great
opening day in baseball.
Vice Mayor Williams suggested that Mr. Steve Smith speak with the Director of
the CRA regarding the funding of MLK.

Mayor Triplett said the school impact fees are increasing as of April 9, 2018. Any
project that is received prior to this date, will be grandfathered in at the former rate.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:17 PM.
