Authorize additional funding for repairs at Mayfair Golf Club. Commissioner Woodruff moved to authorize expenditures of up to $75,000 for roof repairs and /or associated expenditures at the Mayfair Golf Course or Club House. Seconded by Commissioner Austin and carried by vote of the Commission as follows: Mayor Triplett Aye Vice Mayor Williams Aye Commissioner Woodruff Aye Commissioner Austin Aye Commissioner Mahany Aye 9) CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT. 10) CITY CLERK'S REPORT Ms. Houchin distributed handouts pertaining to the upcoming Ethics training that will be held at City Hall on April 18, 2018. 11) CITY MANAGER'S REPORT 12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION Steve Smith, resident of Sanford, expressed his concerns with the MLK Steering Committee and asked the Commission to stop allowing the CRA to fund the organization. 13) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS Commissioner Austin gave kudos to the Recreation Department for hosting a great opening day in baseball. Vice Mayor Williams suggested that Mr. Steve Smith speak with the Director of the CRA regarding the funding of MLK. CITY COMMISSION MINUTES MARCH 12, 2018 REGULAR MEETING Mayor Triplett said the school impact fees are increasing as of April 9, 2018. Any project that is received prior to this date, will be grandfathered in at the former rate. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:17 PM.
