SPECIAL JOINT MEETING
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Joint
Meeting with the Sanford Airport Authority on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 4:00 PM, in the
City Commission Chambers, Sanford City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

1. Meeting call to order by Mayor Triplett.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Triplett at 4:00 PM, at which time he
turned the meeting over to Chairman Slattery who called the meeting to order for the Sanford
Airport Authority.

SPECIAL JOINT MEETING
The Board considered other items on their agenda and took action prior to
considering approval of the FY 2018-2019 budget.
Board Member Smith moved to approve the SAA Comprehensive Annual Budget
Fiscal Year 2018/2019 and submittal to the City of Sanford City Commission for approval. The
motion was seconded by Board Member Bowlin and passed unanimously.
Chairman Slattery adjourned the Sanford Airport Authority Board Meeting at
4:19 PM and turned the meeting over to Mayor Triplett.
Mayor Triplett continued the Special Joint Meeting and opened the public
hearing.
2. PUBLIC HEARING
A. Sanford Airport Authority FY 2018/2019 Budget: presentation by Sanford Airport
Authority President/CEO Diane Crews.
Ms. Crews presented an overview of the Sanford Airport Authority
Comprehensive Annual Budget Fiscal Year 2018/2019.
Commissioner Woodruff moved to approve the SAA Comprehensive Annual
Budget Fiscal Year 2018/2019. Seconded by Vice Mayor Williams and carried by vote of the
Commission as follows:
