REGULAR MEETING
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Meeting on
Monday, January 14, 2019, at 7:00 PM, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 300 North
Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

Mayor Triplett welcomed his mother to the meeting followed by a Moment of
Silence for the passing of Pastor Ronald Merthie.

6) CONSENT AGENDA [Commission Memo 19-001 ]
A. Approve award of Bid #IFB 17/18-69 and the implementing procurement activities
to Huffman Inc. (dba NuWave Concrete) as the lowest responsive and responsible
bidder for the Hidden Lakes Sidewalk Project.
B. Approve the purchase order to Tencarva Machinery Company, LLC (dba Hudson
Pump & Equipment) for lift station replacement pumps in an amount not to exceed
$63,294.
C. Approve the purchase order to Odyssey Manufacturing Company for the purchase
of Sodium Hypochlorite for the City's water and wastewater treatment plants in an
amount not to exceed $215,000.
D. Approve Consent Order No. 18-1339 with the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection allowing increased interim total phosphorus and total
nitrogen concentrations in reclaimed water produced during final construction, start
up, mechanical integrity testing and optimization of the Sanford North Water
Reclamation Facility for the biological nutrient removal improvements.
E. Approval of payment in the amount of $258,750 to Vitil Solutions for Computer
Help Desk and Desk Side Support Services for Fiscal Year 2019.
F. Approval of payment in the amount of $108,563.23 to Superion (H.T.E) to maintain

Linda Barker, Sanford resident, thankful the City is working on rectifying the traffic
situation on Lake Mary Blvd. and for Planned Development standards in the Goldsboro
Community.
Daniel Lewis, Sanford resident, expressed thanks for keeping Sanford Sparkling,
next event is January 27th at 9 AM. He distributed pick up sticks to the City Manager, Mayor and
Commissioners along with an invite to join them at the event. Mr. Lewis also gave kudos to City
staff for all of their assistance.
13) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS
Mayor Triplett discussed the City Manager's evaluation, 4.1 % overall rating out of
5, thanked him for a job well done and asked for a motion.
Commissioner Mahany moved to approve a 3% increase to the City Manager's
salary, retroactive to October 1, 2018. Seconded by Commissioner Woodruff and carried by the
