4) Review the June 15, 2010, Special City Election returns as submitted by the
Seminole County Canvassing Board; and adopt Resolution No. 2185 to
accept and certify the results of the June 15, 2010, Special City Election,
and declare the winner.
5) Swear in City Commissioner, District 4
6) Sanford /Seminole County YouthBuild lease. [Commission Memo 10 -124]
7) Approve Resolution No. 2186 re: Sanford Housing Authority application for
demolition and disposition of Lake Monroe Terrace.
8) END THE MEETING.

SPECIAL MEETING
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special
Meeting on Monday, June 21, 2010, at 4 PM, in the City Commission Chambers, City
Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present: Mayor Linda Kuhn
Vice Mayor Art Woodruff
Commissioner Velma Williams
Interim City Manager Tom George
City Attorney William L. Colbert
City Clerk Janet Dougherty
Deputy City Clerk Cynthia Porter
Absent: Commissioner Randy Jones
1) Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kuhn at 4:02 PM.
2) Invocation.
3) Pledge of Allegiance.
4) Review the June 15, 2010, Special City Election returns as submitted by the
Seminole County Canvassing Board; and adopt Resolution No. 2185 to accept
and certify the results of the June 15, 2010, Special City Election, and declare the
winner.
Official election results were distributed to the Commission just prior to
today's meeting.
Vice Mayor Woodruff moved to adopt Resolution No. 2185. Seconded by
Commissioner Williams and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:

5) Swear in City Commissioner, District 4.
City Clerk Dougherty administered the Oath of Office to Commissioner-
Elect Patty Mahany who was then seated as City Commissioner, District 4.
6) Sanford/Seminole County YouthBuild lease. [Commission Memo 10 -124]
Vice Mayor Woodruff moved to approve the lease. Seconded by
Commissioner Williams and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:

7) Approve Resolution No. 2186 re: Sanford Housing Authority application for

Mayor Kuhn announced that the City Commission will not have a meeting
