ORDINANCE NO. 1469
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT NORTH-
SOUTH ALLEY LYING BETWEEN 25TH STREET (GENEVA
AVENUE) AND 25TH PLACE AND BETWEEN PARK AVENUE
AND MAGNOLIA AVENUE, RESERVING THE USE OF SAME
UNTO THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA FOR UTILITY
PURPOSES, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
That certain street described'as:
That certain North-South alley in Block 3, SPURLING
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, accordingto~thePIat thereof,
as recorded in Plat Book 6, page 19, of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public
street in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby
disclaim for itself and the public all interest therein, reserving
the use of said street unto the City of Sanford, Florida, for utility
purposes.
SECTION 2:
If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of
any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
Conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
