AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF THAT PORTION
OF PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
AND WEST 25TH STREET AND BETWEEN HARDY AVENUE
AND THE SEABOARD COAST LINE HAILROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY FROM Ri-1 (RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT
TO MI-2(~DI~.~ INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT, PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance
being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford,
Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other
purposes~ be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Beginning at a point 1856.24 feet East and 30 feet
North of the Southwest corner of Section 35, Township
19 South, Range 30 East, said point being on the North
R/W line of Geneva Avenue and the East R/W line of
Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, run East 450 feet; thence
North 36°15'33'' East 372.04 feet; thence West 206.29
feet to a point 36.3 chains East'and 330 feet North
of the Southwest corner of said Section 35; thence
North 252 feet; thence East 391.13 feet; thence North
36 15'33', East 272.09 feet to She South R/W of Country
Club Road; thence run North 89 57' West along said R/W
968.52 feet to the East ~/W of Seaboard Coast Line ·
Railroad; thence South 0 03' West 178 feet to a curve
· '~.conca~e'.Westerly h~ving a radius of 3797.07 feet and a
central angle of 9 00'; thence Southerly along said
curve an arc distance of 596.44 feet to the Point of
Beginning.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from RI-1 (Restricted
Industrial) District to M1-2 (Medium Industrial) Dist~ct.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this.ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect
of any other section or part of this ord~rance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption'.
