Vernon Mize,.Jr. City Attornei~'~Sanford,' FL 32771 ORDINANCE NO, 1471 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF PRINCETON AVENUE AND YALE AVENUE, LYING BETWEEN EAST 25TH PLACE (PALM DRIVE) AND EAST 26TH STREET (WOODRUFF STREET) AND BETWEEN POINSETTA AVENUE AND THE SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, RESERVING THE USE OF SAME UNTO THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA FOR UTILITY PURPOSES, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: 0 0 -H SECTION 1: That certain street described as: '~ That portion of Princeton Avenue lying between and abutting Lots 16 through 30 Block 6 and Lots 1 through 15 Block 8, and ~ That portion of Yale Avenue lying south of the nortt~ lot line of Lot 16, Block 8, extended easterly and between and abutting Lots 16 through 30, Block 8 and CD Lots 17 through 32, Block 9, all in PALM TERRACE, according to the Plat thereof_,' as recorded in Plat Book 4, page 82, of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public street in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby disclaim for itself and the public all interest therein, reserving the use of said street unto the City of Sanford, Florida for utility purposes. SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
