ORDINANCE NO. 1479
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAwNFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT ALLEY
AND A UTILITY EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN COLONIAL
WAY AND KATHERINE COURT AND BET~EN FRENCH
AVENUE AND CORDOVA DRIVE, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That certain utility easement lying on the
East 5 feet of property described as follows:
Beginning on the Easterly right-of-way of French Avenue,
241.4 feet South of the North lineof Lot 1, Block 8, of
HIGHLAND PA~<, according to the Plat thereof, as record-
ed in Plat Book 4, page 28, of the Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida, run South 60 feet to the South
line of Lot 5, Block 8, HIGHLAND PARK; thence Southeasterly
along South line of Lot 5, Block 8, 72.85 feet to the West
line of 10 foot alley; thence Northeasterly along West line
of said alley, 63.72 feet to a point which is 107 feet East
of the Easterly right-of-way of French Avenue; thence North
20 feet; thence West 107 feet to the Point of Beginning;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a utility
easement in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby
disclaim for itself and the public all interest therein.
SECTION 2: That certain alley described as:
That certain 10 foot alley lying between Lots 5 and 10,
Block 8, HIGHLAND PARK, according to the Plat thereof,
as recorded in Plat Book 4, page 28, of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public
alley in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby disclaim
for itself and the public all interest therein.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity,.force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION' 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

immediately upon its passage and adoption,
