ORDINANCE NO. 1400
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION
OF 24TH STREET LYING BETWEEN THE EAST BIGHT-
OF-WAY LINE OF WILLOV¢ AVENUE EXTENDED
NORTHERLY AND THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
BAY AVENUE EXTENDED NORTHERLY, RESERVING
THE USE OF SAME UNTO THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FOB UTILITY PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That-certain street described as:
That portion of'24th Street lying between the East
right-el-way line of Willow Avenue extended
Northerly and the West right-of-way line of Bay
Avenue extended Northerly, Sanfo Park Subdivision,
Plat Book 5, Page 62, Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public street
in the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby disclaim for itself
and the public all interest therein, reserving the use of said street unto the
City of Sanford, Florida, for utility purposes.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its pas sage and adoption.
