AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD?
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDIANCE NO. 1097 OF
SAID CITY, SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING
PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A
PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING
BETWEEN LAKE AVENUE AND CEDAR AVENUE AND
BETWEEN 24TH PLACE AND 25TH STREET TO
RMOI (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL,' OFFICE
AND INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1404 was adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida on
January 2, 1978, which said ordinance rezoned the real property
described hereinafter to GC-2 (General Commercial) District, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Commission that there was a mistake in said ordinance in that the
minutes of the Public Hearing conducted by the 'City Commission on
November 28, 1977 show that the Commission pursuant to a Notice of
Public Hearing which was duly published voted affirmatively to have
an ordinance prepared to rezone said real property to RMOI (Multiple
Family Residential, Office and Institutional) District, and said
ordinance was drafted in error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA that Ordinance No. 1404 passed and adopted on January 2, 1978
be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance
being the comprehensice Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford,
Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other
purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Lots 1,2,3,4,17,18,19 and 20, Block 9, 3rd
Section, DREAMWOLD, Plat Book 4, page 70,
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby placed RMOI (Multiple
Family Residential, Office and Institutional)
District.
Attest:
SECTION 2. That all ordinancea or parts of ordinances
in conflict h~Irewithbe and th~ same-are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance 'is effective retroactlively
to January 2~ 1978.
