AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A1VIEN.DING CHAPTER 6 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
SAN FORD, FLORIDA, THE SAME BEING KNOWN AS THE
BUILDING CODE, SAID AMENDMENTS DELETING SECTION
6-4 THEREOF RELATIVE TO THE REQU]REiVIENTS THAT
CERTAIN BUILDINGS BE RAT FREE AND RAT PROOFED,
SAID PROVeION BEING DELETED BECAUSE PROVISION
IS MADE FOR THE RAT FREEING AND RAT PROOFING
OF BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to ~the attention of the City
Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, that the adopt[on of the
1977 revision to the 1976 edition of the Standard Bu[Idhng Code makes
provisions for certahn bu[Id[ngs to be rat free and rat proofed, and
therefore, Sect[on 6-4 of Chapter 6 of the Building Code of the City of
Sanford, should be abolished since it is in conflict with the Standard
Building Code.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLOR IDA.
SECTION 1. That Sect[on 6-4 of Chapter 6 of the Sanford City
Code, the same being known as the "Building Code" 'be and the same is
hereby deleted from the City Code.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are here'by repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adopt[on.
