USER AGREEMENT: PARTNER AGENCY STACweb ACCESS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Office of the State Attorney for the 18t1 Judicial Circuit of Florida ("the SAO") provides, with specific conditions
and subject to review and approval, limited access to its computer network and certain resources thereon (the
"Services"). The following terms and conditions ("Terms") govern all use of the Services. The Services are offered
subject to your acceptance without modification of all the terms and conditions contained herein and all other
operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time by the SAO and other relevant
rulemaking and legislative agencies.
1. SCOPE OF AGREEMENT
The Terms of this Agreement define the privileges of individuals employed by law enforcement agencies ("User") within the
18th Judicial Circuit of Florida in the context of those Users' access to the State Attorney Case Management System (STAG)
provided by the SAO.
2. PRINCIPLE OF LEAST PRIVILEGE
Each User with a need for access to STAC in the regular performance of their job function must submit a copy of the Agreement
signed by their supervisor to the SAO. The SAO will review each request and may, at its discretion, request or require further
substantiating documentation. Upon approval, the requesting User will receive a confidential username and temporary
password for STAC, which is to be used BY THAT USER ONLY and may not be shared with any other person, for any reason.
These credentials will provide read-only ("Inquiry") access to the SAO's STAC.
3. NONDISCLOSURE
Users receiving STAC credentials may not disclose, disseminate, or distribute those credentials at any time. Users who have
forgotten their credentials may contact the SAO to receive an account reset. This Agreement need not be resubmitted to reset
a valid, active account. If an account has been deactivated, the SAO may at its discretion require the submittal of a new
Agreement.
Each User accessing STAC will maintain the confidentiality and prevent the unauthorized disclosure of any data or information
that is accessed or obtained from the Services provided by the SAO. Users are responsible for safeguarding this trust and will
not at any time allow their access to be used by any other individual, or to effect the accessing of information by any other
parties regardless of whether or not such party is an employee of the User's agency, without the express written consent of the
State Attorney.
The Services may not be used for personal purposes at any time, including but not limited to entertainment, business outside
the scope of employment with the agency, or personal gain.
4. OFFICE OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY/ OFFICE OF RECORD
The SAO provides the Services under these Terms on an as -is and best -effort basis. The SAO is not the Office of Record for
information that may be accessed in STAC. Users seeking official court records should make such requests through the Clerk of
Courts.
S. TERMINATION
Users granted access to the Services under this Agreement understand that violating any condition of the Agreement shall
cause the immediate termination of all access to the Services provided under this and any other agreement with the SAO.
