ORDINANCE NO. 3630
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE
HUMAN RESOURCES MANUAL, CONSOLIDATING THE PERSONNEL RULES
AND REGULATIONS; CLASSIFICATION & PAY PLAN/ADMINISTRATIVE
GUIDELINES; CIVIL SERVICE SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
to adopt Personnel Rules and Regulations, Classification and Pay Plan/Administrative
Guidelines and the Civil Service System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Commission adopts statements above as if fully set forth
herein.
SECTION 2: That the Personnel Rules and Regulations, Classification and Pay
Plan/Administrative Guidelines and the Civil Service System which is attached hereto as
Exhibit U AU is incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 3' SEVERABILITY: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: CONFLICTS: That all ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE. That this ordinance shall become effective after
its passage and adoption.
